The "RFID Test Bed" facility for the development and demonstration of RFID radio wave propagation characteristics is one of the largest in Japan as a permanent RFID evaluation facility.
This is an "RFID Test Bed" facility for the development and demonstration of technology related to RFID radio wave propagation characteristics. It consists of a large radio wave anechoic chamber (6.5m × 4.5m × H3.4m) and a dedicated broadband RFID reader/writer along with transmitting and receiving antennas, allowing for precise evaluation of large managed objects in conditions close to actual installation environments. ◆ It is one of the largest permanent RFID evaluation facilities in Japan. ◆ It is available for use by any companies, schools, or research institutions involved in RFID research, development, and business. * This test bed was established as part of the new technology development facility (IoT test bed) project of the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), which was selected for funding on March 13, 2020.
